Winners of our Solaris is IT competition

Our recent Solaris is IT competition sparked the minds of many. We’d like to say thanks to everyone who took the time to tell us why using Solaris makes so much sense.

The entries ranged from the imaginative to the passionate. Those which stood out touched upon some of the most compelling features of Solaris 10 and clearly demonstrated how the operating system improves the user’s working life.

We are now delighted to share extracts from the winners’ entries:

The winners each received a Google Android powered HTC Dream Smart Phone. As well as the top prize winners, there are now 500 Solaris fans proudly parading the streets in ‘Solaris is IT’ t-shirts, and another five enjoying their favourite music through new Bose headphones.
